Traveling to Steamboat Springs
Fly to Steamboat
Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN)
The most convenient way to reach Steamboat Springs is via Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). There are 16 airports nationwide with direct flights on six major airlines, plus hundreds of connecting options, making Steamboat more accessible than ever. Depending on weather, HDN is an easy 35–45 minute drive to Elevated Properties.
HDN is a small airport and does not offer the same amenities as larger international airports. Guests should secure ground transportation in advance, as onsite availability is limited. Independent shuttles and rental cars require reservations, and rideshare services are not consistently available. Please plan accordingly.
Denver International Airport (DEN)
Denver International Airport (DEN) is Colorado’s primary international hub. Depending on weather, drive time to Elevated Properties from DEN is approximately 3.5–4.5 hours.
Bob Adams Airport (SBS)
Located about five miles from downtown Steamboat Springs, Bob Adams Airport (SBS) serves private, corporate, and chartered aircraft. The airport has 27 hangars available for daily, short‑term, or long‑term rental. For information, call 970‑879‑9042.
Please note: Elevated Properties cannot sell flights. Book air travel directly with your preferred airline.

Drive to Steamboat
From Denver, take I‑70 West through the Eisenhower Tunnel, go north on CO‑9 in Silverthorne, then left onto US‑40 in Kremmling. US‑40 takes you over Rabbit Ears Pass into the Steamboat Springs valley.
To reach the Elevated Properties Front Desk: From US‑40, head up Mt. Werner Rd, continue straight through Mt. Werner Cir as the road becomes Après Ski Way, proceed up the hill, then turn left onto Ski Trail Lane. The Front Desk is in the main Bear Claw II building, approximately a half mile up Ski Trail Lane on the left.
Getting Around Town
For winter stays, Elevated Properties offers a complimentary, on‑call property shuttle. Use the Elevated Rides app—details on downloading and using the app will be provided prior to check‑in—to request rides anywhere in the mountain or downtown area.
On‑Property Parking
Parking at Bear Claw and Edgemont is limited. Each reservation may register a maximum of one vehicle, but on‑site availability is not guaranteed, especially during peak seasons. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary winter shuttle instead of bringing a vehicle.
When on‑site parking is unavailable, guests must use paid off‑site parking at their own expense. RVs, campers, trailers, and boats are not permitted on property at any time. Please register your vehicle at check‑in and display your Elevated Properties parking permit on the dashboard at all times. Vehicles without a displayed pass may be towed or booted at the driver’s expense. Park only in the designated area for the building where you are staying.
Ship Skis
If you plan to ship skis, equipment, or luggage ahead of time, we recommend using Ship Skis—a trusted provider in the ski industry—to help ensure your gear arrives on time.
